Great Personal Humidifier with a lot more features than other Personal Humidifiers in the market. This humidifier is small enough to travel with or to have it in smaller spaces (my office cube..) and has lot of cool settings too. The cycle on/off feature lets you set the humidifier to switch on and off in intervals, it has 5 different output settings, a night light that can be switched on and off. The alarm function is need but not necessarily needed. When the water reservoir is empty the humidifier switches off. The display has blue backlight which switches off after a while so it will not disturb the sleep.

I would definitely recommend it to friends or even give it as gift.

Finally decided that we needed to raise the humidity in our house for healthier air and become less susceptible to getting a cold...we ordered and it shipped promptly.What a difference it makes at an affordable price, well functioning and not imposing as it runs almost un-noticable.Auto-shut off is a great feature. Good little humidifier on high it only lasts about 4-6 hours so you will have to fill it twice to last a whole work day (8-9 hours). Wish it had a bigger tank for this reason but seems to do the job.

Not a fan of the clock featureprobably because I use this in my office I can't see how this would be good unless its for a very small child's bedroom.

This has a very small footprint, so it won't take up a lot fo space if you keep it on your desk, like I do. The water tank is about as spillproof as it possibly could be, too, so no worries about dripping all over electronics or important paperwork. There are also LEDs that illuminate the tank in a nice, bright, cheery blue so if you've buying this for a child, it can double as a night-light (there are three light settings: clock face only, all lights, and no lights at all).

Though the tank is fairly small, it holds (just) enough for a full night's sleep plus you can set an on/off timer via the clock.

The only drawback in my opinion, is that the "directional nozzel" really _isn't_ especially directional the mist tends to just go straight up, regardless of where you point it. Still, that's an extremely minor issue.

All in all, I am quite pleased with my purchase.

I don't normally write review, but I saw nobody writing it for this product, so I decided to give it a try. I have this machine for 3 days now, day 1, 2, 3 works great with 2 spoons of salt ( spoon came with the product), if no salt added it won't boil. It has great amount of steam even att lowest setting, not really 25 hours running , only 6 hours running even at lowest setting. U will get the machine wet when u refill, no exception, each time have to wipe the unit dry in and out , I live in NYC, so the water I have, I have to clean it every two days with vinger, today it doesnt work, the Manuel says bc its not clean so it won't run. So I cleaned with vinger, but it stil wouldn't work, the machine mechanic parts might have water, it stopped working, I want to see if it drys will it work again, have to wait see if it works tomorrow night, but I don't feel confident about it. I had Vick ( the best selling warm mist) but bc I added baking soda to water, it caused it to leaked, if I don't put baking soda, it get dirty very fast, but now I,m thinking to try vicks 99.99 germ and return this one, I wanted to like but it's design is not waterproof, so not a good choice for me.

I love this product it works great. The tank is the bottom part so fill water to the line where it shows on the tank "water max" wipe off any water on outside of tank from splash when filling put together and good to go. The best thing of all it hardly makes any noise. Only time you will hear it start to make a sound is when water is really low.

This humidifier is terrible. It is really a vaporizer and they should label it as such. It is NOT warm mist, it is HOT STEAM that could burn. I have another high end warm mist humidifier that I love, but decided to try this due to it's compact size (which is about all it has going for it). Every time I use it I have to add salt, which is annoying. Also, when the tank empties there is brown liquid with black sediment in the bottom. I know that problem is not our water as I live in a town with some of the purest water in the world. The first humidifier I got just completely stopped working even after cleaning. I contacted the company and they sent me a new one but didn't tell me I would have to pay exorbitant S&H. I was irritated, especially since I have Prime and the first one cost nothing to ship. The 2nd "humidifier" I was sent does the exact same thing as far as the sediment and now it is not working either. Don't waste your money, especially if you intend to use it in a child's room too much potential to burn your child!

It's been 3 month of almost continuous use and I have only one complaint... if I run the unit on full blast all the time (I have it in my 200 sq.ft. bedroom now), I eventually find it sitting in a puddle of water. I believe this is due to condensation, meaning the air in the room has become so humid that the mist condensates back into water around the unit's base instead of staying in the air. To combat this problem, I've turned the mist/humidity control down to halfway. I also placed the base on a Van Ness pet food mat: Van Ness Food Mat for Dogs and Cats that I bought at a local pet supply store for under $10, and I keep a wash cloth nearby to wipe up the drips when I lift the tank to refill it. The mat keeps the puddled water from ruining anything, if it develops again, which it hasn't so far, because the lip on the mat keeps the water on the mat. These things seem to have worked, and (knocking on wood) so far I haven't seen another puddle. I'll keep the mat under it though anyway.

The humidity in the room is enough now that the static issues are gone and my skin and sinuses feel way better; I'm no longer so stuffy at night or dried out. I'm going to buy another one of these (and another pet food mat) for my office.

I have a couple of Venta-Sonic VS100 ultrasonic humidifiers in my house too. Both of those units are over 7 years old now and run pretty much full time in the winter as well. One unit sits in my living room and the other is in an upstairs hallway. Both of these locations are near the largest RETURN air vents for my HVAC system so the humidified air can also circulate throughout the house.

These units also do the same thing with water pooling underneath, but only when the humidity around the unit is high enough to make it condense, or I didn't screw on the lid to the tank properly or I didn't place the tank on the base properly. Both of those units are on waterproof mats too. I have also turned down the humidity level controls to help prevent the condensation, but lately it's been very dry here in Colorado so I have to run them full blast.

I highly recommend everyone running ultrasonic humidifiers use some sort of waterproof catch mat under them, and keep a wash cloth nearby too. Make sure the mat has a lip all the way around the edge to prevent any pooling water from escaping.

I hate this humidifier. It's got a terrible design. The air seems to be sucked in from the bottom, which means that if you put it on carpet or a thick towel, the air won't flow and the humidifier won't work. You have to put it on a hard surface. But make sure it's not a hard surface you care about, because it WILL get soaked. No matter what setting I put this on, there is always a pool of water around it. After a few uses, it started making a light buzzing sound. I was able to get used to it and sleep through it after a while, but then the buzzing sound turned into a high pitched squeal! I noticed that while it was squealing, it was not producing any mist so there must be something wrong with the motor. This is only after a few months of use so it really shouldn't be breaking this fast. After realizing that I just could not get this to work, I threw it away. What a waste of money. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

As has been mentioned before, water will fall back on the machine if left on the highest setting for long enough. I have an air purifier and a regular fan moving air around my room 24/7, which is what prevents the moisture from coming back on the machine. If you put a fan near it, even on the lowest setting, I feel like you get the most out of this machine.

I was not really happy with these humidifiers. I think they are rated too high. As in the small one is rated for humidors up to 30 cigars and the one rated for up to 100 cigars had trouble keeping humidity to 65% +(maybe 1/2 that amount?). and they seem to not work very well with the recommended distilled water. They seemed to do OK with 50/50 mix of glycol, but at the price seemed to defeat the purpose for buying these in the first place! You be better off sticking with the old style foam humidifiers, or step up and get an electric one. Which is what I did with my large humidor.

This humidifier works great for small humidors (25 ct or less). I've had no issues & my cigars remained at perfect temp/pH level. I would recommend this to anyone.

I've had multiple humidifiers for my humidor and had constant trouble keeping the optimum humidity level. The paradigm system has made it easy to keep my cigars perfectly preserved. Now, when I order cigars online, I throw them in the humidor for a few weeks before smoking them. I can definitely taste the difference. I would suggest you make sure to buy the right size for your humidor though. I bought the smaller paradigm originally and had trouble keeping the humidor at the correct humidity level. However, I've had no problems since I bought the larger model.

Good:

The PH110 is accurate and cheap. I am able to get repeatable flavor and texture when I make cheese, because I can hit all my markers.

Bad:

The PH110 requires fiddling every time I want to use it. It requires at least one calibration when I take it out of the cabinet. Then if I wait more than a couple of hours between uses, it requires another calibration. Calibration isn't difficult, but it can get pricy because you have to buy pouches of calibration solution. I put the solution in a tupperware bowl and reuse it for a day or two.

Ugly:

A couple of times, I had to remove the batteries to reset it because it locked up during a calibration.

I bought this to use for cheese making, and it has fulfilled all my expectations, including the ability to check the pH of the cheese itself, rather than just the whey as most other meters are limited to.

I can only hope that it will prove as reliable in the long run as it has in the short run, providing reliable information to 2 decimal points, which comes in very handy.

I love it and would recommend it to anyone needing such accuracy and reliability.

It does not take reliable pH readings (answer changes if retested within an hour), and now the display tells me the meter is reaching the end of its life. This meter did not calibrate, even after following the troubleshooting instructions directly from Extech's website. I turned the meter upside downand tapped on the tip with the pad of my finger and the glass on the tip broke. I didn't know glass could be this thin (it broke) not durable in any way shape or form. Not sure what environment this was designed for but certainly not mine. I shipped it back for a refund. If you ever dropped this it would surely break the glass.

I had my service technician replace my filter pad last year and watched how it did it. Then I saw what it cost me to have him do it. This product is perfect. It is the actual Honeywell filter pad and has the complete instructions on how to change the filter. It was easy to do and will be even easier the next time now that I have done it once.
