Discount Credo Roundo Humidifier For Cigar Humidor Round
First it was not absorbing water enough, and you could feel that its weight didn't increase as much as the previous humidifiers i had. So i had to replenish it very often (more often than my previous one). Few weeks later it developed some kind of mold on top of it. And that was it. I threw it and replaced it with a piece of cotton (yes) until I ordered a Xikar humidifier.I am very pleased wih this little humidifier. I does a good job of keeping a 1lb bag of tobacco humidified and have recommende i o a couple of friends.

HWF23CS Holmes Humidifier Replacement Filter (2 Pack) Review
Filters came in nothing but the outer mailer bag. They honestly look like a larger filter that were cut down to size rather than an actual true replacement. Doesn't have the benefit of color change portion of filter to let you know when it needs changed-like the original filter that came with humidifier had. Once placed in humidifier water did not wick up filter thus not allowing it to work properly.

I received the filters with NO packaging, no label not sure what company that they came from. Did not look like real Holmes filters. In fact, they looked like they were cut from a larger piece. I returned these and ordered directly through another online filter retailer.Best Deals for HWF23CS Holmes Humidifier Replacement Filter (2 Pack)
I needed these after I gave birth. It was affordable and easy to snap into my humidifier. A life saver.Honest reviews on HWF23CS Holmes Humidifier Replacement Filter (2 Pack)
I bought these from Amazon thinking that I got a great deal. Unfortunately, the filters were a little too small (as others have mentioned), they didn't work as well as the originals, and they mildewed with the first use. What a waste! I found the filters I needed on the manufacturer's website, and they were significantly cheaper, plus they were antibacterially treated. I would not buy these again.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for HWF23CS Holmes Humidifier Replacement Filter (2 Pack)

Review of NEW HW Warm Moisture Humidifier (Indoor & Outdoor Living)
It does what it says it's suppose to and it's easy to clean and fill but it leaks very bad when you get to the low water indicator and the light turns from blue to a orange. You are suppose to refill it when it gets to that point but when you are asleep all it does is make alot of water under whatever it's on top of. We ended up putting a thick bath towel under it when we run it at night to soak up the moisture. It only runs for about 7hrs on the high setting but the ad said it would run for like 24hrs, so don't believe everything that is posted. We do wake up less congested and it does kindof heat the room up because the hot steam that it puts out but I think next time we will look for one that doesn't have a leaking problem.

Review of Homedics Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier for Baby with Built-In

It's been 3 month of almost continuous use and I have only one complaint... if I run the unit on full blast all the time (I have it in my 200 sq.ft. bedroom now), I eventually find it sitting in a puddle of water. I believe this is due to condensation, meaning the air in the room has become so humid that the mist condensates back into water around the unit's base instead of staying in the air. To combat this problem, I've turned the mist/humidity control down to halfway. I also placed the base on a Van Ness pet food mat: Van Ness Food Mat for Dogs and Cats that I bought at a local pet supply store for under $10, and I keep a wash cloth nearby to wipe up the drips when I lift the tank to refill it. The mat keeps the puddled water from ruining anything, if it develops again, which it hasn't so far, because the lip on the mat keeps the water on the mat. These things seem to have worked, and (knocking on wood) so far I haven't seen another puddle. I'll keep the mat under it though anyway.
The humidity in the room is enough now that the static issues are gone and my skin and sinuses feel way better; I'm no longer so stuffy at night or dried out. I'm going to buy another one of these (and another pet food mat) for my office.
I have a couple of Venta-Sonic VS100 ultrasonic humidifiers in my house too. Both of those units are over 7 years old now and run pretty much full time in the winter as well. One unit sits in my living room and the other is in an upstairs hallway. Both of these locations are near the largest RETURN air vents for my HVAC system so the humidified air can also circulate throughout the house.
These units also do the same thing with water pooling underneath, but only when the humidity around the unit is high enough to make it condense, or I didn't screw on the lid to the tank properly or I didn't place the tank on the base properly. Both of those units are on waterproof mats too. I have also turned down the humidity level controls to help prevent the condensation, but lately it's been very dry here in Colorado so I have to run them full blast.
I highly recommend everyone running ultrasonic humidifiers use some sort of waterproof catch mat under them, and keep a wash cloth nearby too. Make sure the mat has a lip all the way around the edge to prevent any pooling water from escaping.

I hate this humidifier. It's got a terrible design. The air seems to be sucked in from the bottom, which means that if you put it on carpet or a thick towel, the air won't flow and the humidifier won't work. You have to put it on a hard surface. But make sure it's not a hard surface you care about, because it WILL get soaked. No matter what setting I put this on, there is always a pool of water around it. After a few uses, it started making a light buzzing sound. I was able to get used to it and sleep through it after a while, but then the buzzing sound turned into a high pitched squeal! I noticed that while it was squealing, it was not producing any mist so there must be something wrong with the motor. This is only after a few months of use so it really shouldn't be breaking this fast. After realizing that I just could not get this to work, I threw it away. What a waste of money. I would give it 0 stars if I could.Best Deals for Homedics Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier for Baby with Built-In
Even though we don't put it past 2, it soaks the whole area around the machine. Very disappointing. Also leaks easily when trying to take off the tank to fill.Honest reviews on Homedics Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier for Baby with Built-In
I bought this a few weeks ago for my kids. It soaked the floor within ten minutes. Not worth the money. It leaks water like crazy. Please use your money elsewhere!!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Homedics Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier for Baby with Built-In
As has been mentioned before, water will fall back on the machine if left on the highest setting for long enough. I have an air purifier and a regular fan moving air around my room 24/7, which is what prevents the moisture from coming back on the machine. If you put a fan near it, even on the lowest setting, I feel like you get the most out of this machine.Friday, May 23, 2014
Best AIR PURIFIER HUMIDIFIER Deals
Great for my needs, not ideal for someone who needs a super humidifier or a super air cleaner. It is the size of a small cantaloupe, makes a lot of noise (soothing to me), and is useful on a 20m^2 area. However, it's perfect for small places like a room or an office. I just put it on my desk and watch it spin around. It works by rotating a porous cylinder inside the water and driving it up and back onto the walls. I don't see the water level drop much so I'm skeptical of it's "humidifier" properties but at least as a placebo it works cheerfully.
I woke up the first night without a sore throat, which used to be the case since my bed is right next to the heat radiator. Cool engineering but not to be used for tough work.

After ordering 2 of these and paying 20dollars in shipping 1 arrived cracked and bent. Plus, I quickly realized that these only work for rooms up to 60sq.ft. (so the size of a bathroom?) Then found out because only 1 was actually broken DBROTH wouldn't pay return shipping for either of them! I paid to ship them back for 8bucks total so why was it $10/each to get them here. I did finally receive a refund for the purchase price, but was out the return shipping amount. Don't know if the item actually works or not....but I wouldn't recommend purchasing anything from this company.Best Deals for AIR PURIFIER HUMIDIFIER

I live inthe desert and have a hard time with the dry air. I had one of these, but broke the bowl so had to replace. Decided to get a replacement bowl AND another floor model because they are SO nice and make the air so pure --you can drop some aromatherapy oil in the water and the whole room fills with a great smell. Something nice to come home to. Also thought my electrical unit wasn't working and was so disappointed until I discovered that it is important to cover the upside down U shape piece on the electrical center pice with water or it won't begin to mist. I would prefer they find a way to turn off the lights so I could leave it on all night but during the evening, the lights are very nice with nice ambiance to them. The roses in the picture do not come with the unit so it can be masculine or feminine your preference how to "decorate it" if wanted. It is not a HIGH quality stand but certainly do-able and worth the price paid for THIS unit. You can spend more for a more stable base but just keep this one tucked where someone won't run into it and you should be fine.

I purchased this item thinking that it was like a mist lamp I had previously bought from another company. The mode switch had broken after 5 years (not a bad lifetime, I thought, for a mist lamp)Instead of just replacing the switch I bought this because I thought it was a deal...everything included and I erroneously thought that "multimode" meant that there was a switch and mode changer included...wrong! This lamp only offers on and off with unplugging, and the bowl is lighter glass and the color blue which I don't like. The lights do flash different colors but you can't change the mode or speed. Thankfully, I was able to use the white bowl from my old mist maker and just switch out the old lights for the new. It works, so I'm at least happy with that. Just don't think you are buying a lamp with an off and on switch or a mode switch that changes the speed and colors. On the upside, it shipped really fast and was in great condition when I received it.Best Deals for Multimode Mist Maker Water Humidifier Fountain Lamp

The first thing is the stand wouldn't hold it..... it's really cheap, So I used another stand and now in less than a month it quit working. It still has colored lights but no mist, I've cleaned it and kept if full with water but it didn't matter. I remember my dad looking for a source of various filters (humidifier, dehumidifier, furnace, air conditioner, drinking water) for various appliances with increasing grimness. The appliance might still be in good shape, but the store that sold it went out of business, and nobody else carried the same line. Or the manufacturer made some minor tweaks to the design, which just happened to require a different filter, which just happened to make our unit obsolete. Or it would simply be sold out, and nobody knew exactly when more would arrive. Dad was a guy who worried, and finding replacement filters provided maybe 5% of his life's quota of worry.
How he would have enjoyed Amazon. Exactly the right filter, often available from multiple manufacturers, cheap, and delivered within a few days. Searchable by appliance model number. Nice clear pictures. User reviews which point out obscure features and problems. Every time I order a filter from Amazon, I feel a little burst of thankfulness for the inventors of the Internet and to Jeff Bezos for bringing us Amazon.
This particular filter isn't especially easy to install or well designed, but it's EXACTLY the filter I needed.

Holmes HM1230 Cool Mist Humidifier for 600 Square Foot Room Review
I spent a lot of time in the store looking over humidifiers, and finally decided on the Holmes. I like the design and features. The good point is it works very well at humidifying a small room. The bad is that it is VERY noisy. There's no way you could have it on high it sounds like a jet engine. On low it is still quite loud. I have it in my son's room, and the white noise actually helps him sleep, but I would never be able to have it in my own room. If the noise isn't an issue, then this is a great humidifier, but I believe most people would prefer a quieter unit.
I didn't incur any less dry heat induced nosebleeds and wasn't always sure when the thing was working.
It was returned today.
It does look nice and I am using it without any powers because of above listed issues hence it is keeping my 14x13 room at 50% humidity, how? I just filled it up with tap water and I can see water level dropping day by day without turning it on, also I have a digital humidity monitor in my room and I can watch the humidity level with or without HM1230 in the room.

I bought this humidifier for my 5 month old's room to help not only with adding moisture to our dry home, but to help drown out the noises of the busy street we live on as well as the sounds from within our house. It has made a world of difference! He has slept so well since I bought this. It works great. The high setting does have a louder hum, but I sleep in his room sometimes and have no problem getting to sleep. The only down side is having to buy filters. The cheapest I've found are $8.20 + shipping each and we need to probably buy a new one every 1-2 months. Great purchase otherwise!Honest reviews on Holmes HM1230 Cool Mist Humidifier for 600 Square Foot Room
I bought this humidifier because I was having trouble with my asthma this winter in the hot dry air of my home. I was desperate to try and add a little moisture to the air. I chose a "cool-air" product because the assumption was that I did not want to add any more "hot-air" than I already had, however, i have only used this product 2 or 3 times. It is way too noisy. The fan component of the humidifier makes it very difficult to sleep with it on, and my husband absolutely refuses to have it on when he is in the room. So whether or not the product can relieve the dryness in my bedroom is moot, since I can't use it!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Holmes HM1230 Cool Mist Humidifier for 600 Square Foot Room
This little bugger does the job very well but two things I must add, if you are in heated room; it will make the temperature go down fast since it is a cool mist humidifier...... 2nd on full speed it is too noisy to keep in bedroom. It does look nice and I am using it without any powers because of above listed issues hence it is keeping my 14x13 room at 50% humidity, how? Discount THF13 Lasko Humidifier Wick Filter (2 Pack)
I received these filters they shipped it very fast. They failed to make sure they shipped the correct size filters. The filters I received will not fit into the lasko thf humidifier. The filters are too long, too wide, way too thick. I cant even slide the back on of the humidifier.I have not been able to find filters for my humidifier in the stores and found these and they are perfect. This is my second time ordering them. They last a long time. I have even washed them a few times and reused them. I would definitely recommend these filters. Make sure you check the model number on your humidifier and match it with the filter you need. I did this and the filters fit perfectly!
