UPDATE: 5/30/13

This mattress is still AHHH-MAZING!! I say this because it has retained it's shape and form beautifully and if baby's diaper leaks overnight (and they will as they get bigger!) you can easily clean the mess. We use a waterproof mattress pad, but still, when everything is in the wash, I still give it a good wipe down. Baby loves it and she's 20 months now. One thing i really appreciate about it and you may not care about this, but since there are no springs, she has never had the urge to try and jump up and down on it and escape the crib.

Also, some of you have asked about the size of the mattress and it is at least average crib mattress size, if not longer. I am paranoid by design and I never had one unsafe thought or experience with this mattress. I suppose if you are using an older crib or a HUGE one, you may have minor issues, but we use a solid wood crib to full size bed convertible type ($$!...don't even get me started on the cost of a good heirloom crib!), and nada...no problems.

Feel free to contact me here with any questions. I was happy to see that so many people enjoyed my original review and I am more than happy to answer any questionsbig or smallthat you may have. I love this mattress more now then I did nearly two years ago and I am super finicky. For the price, you simply can't lose.

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

I ordered this mattress 2 days ago and it was on my doorstep this afternoon. I have to say that I am floored by the quality. This is for our second daughter (on her way) and our oldest used a mattress 2x this price and when I compared them side by side, I was blown away.

Here's why:

1. It's a dense, high quality memory foam with a waterproof cover on it (removable)

2. Contrary to what other reviewers say, it's big; as a matter of fact, it's a good 1.5" longer than our brand name more expensive mattress that pales in comparison. The old one is like sitting on a series of crunchy springs and the new one is like sitting on a tempur-pedic with a non-crunchy waterproof cover.

I did a lot of anal retentive research in this purchase and am shocked that this is the real price for this mattress. Don't hesitate on this one. It feels and looks very high end. You'll be glad I did all the psychotic research for you in advance.

I think this mattress is a great value! The foam is nice and firm, but its very light which is great for changing the crib bedding, the cover is waterproof which is great, and it even has a zipper if for some reason there is ever a reason that you would need to remove the cover. When i opened it there were no weird odors or plastic-type smells which was a relief. I also noticed the tag on mine says its made in Canada which is nice to know. Im really happy with this purchase and i would recommend this mattress to anyone that wants a perfectly fine crib mattress for less money :)

i was skeptical when i ordered this. thought it might be chinsy because of the price, but it's a really nice mattress. very firm, i was checking out mattresses at target and burlington and the very firm ones were running $70-$80. i would buy this again if i ever need a crib mattress again.

Honest reviews on Safety 1st Heavenly Dreams White Crib Mattress

I bought this after reading nearly all of the reviews. Most are very favorable, but there were a couple that had me concerned. Since there were mostly really good reviews, I decided to risk it.

Since most product descriptions do not list where the product is manufactured, the review mentioning that it was made in Canada was helpful to me and I am pleased about this since I am wary of plastic products made in certain countries. I was also happy that the mattress I received was manufactured just 2 months prior to my receiving it. Not sure why that is such a good thing, but I guess I like that it has not been sitting in a funky warehouse for months or years.

To address some negative reviews: A couple said this mattress is far too soft and I would like to assure you that this is not the case as it is extremely firm. Perhaps those buyers got a lemon or would prefer their infant sleep on a slab of concrete. Firmness is definitely suitable for infants.

The other review I was concerned about stated that their crib sheets did not fit this mattress, so that had me a little worried. Fortunately, mine fit like a dream and so does my crib pad.

A couple reviews said the mattress didnt fit their cribs perfectly and I am pleased to report that it fits my Babi Italia standard size convertible crib absolutely perfectly with no spaces whatsoever.

After purchasing this, I noticed that it has been a baby best seller on amazon for over 800 days! I can see why.

I am exteremly happy that I bought this and recommend it to you. Of course I want nothing but the best for my baby, and in this case, I found a wonderful mattress for him at a fraction of the cost of other comparable ones.

Not too firm, not too soft...it's just right! Baby is comfortable. I'm very pleased with the purchase of this crib mattress it seems just as good as the other high priced mattress but for a fraction of the cost.

When I first moved to the high mountains (8400') of Colorado, I used a wick-type humidifier constantly. I also had a nasty little cough that stayed with me for 18 months. Finally, I took my doctor's advice and junked the humidifier. End of cough, due to things growing in the unit. I have been shopping for humidifiers again for a while, and found them all to be lacking severely. Either they were the same type of filter construction that had caused my illness, or they were cheaply made, or low-capacity. This unit may have a tippy storage tank when turned upside-down to fill, but it is well made. The screw-on cap for the reservoir is sturdy and has a rubber gasket. There are carrying handles on the top and bottom of the water container to make it easy to manage, and it puts out a LOT of humidity. At 2/3 setting, it ran the humidity in my bedroom from 22 to 35% the first night, all while being completely silent. The (silent) piezo-electric ultrasonic element is the same as is used in the tweeters of my big PA speakers, and these are practically indestructible if kept clean. The huge water reservoir does mean that it is big, and the styling is retro, which is OK, I guess. More expensive units from the same manufacturer have useless and noisy digital features with the same overall construction. Overall, a solid five.

Update on 22Mar2012: This thing is great. The silver (yes, they impregnate the plastic with silver) added to the water chamber means that there is virtually no scum build-up inside. I did clean it once in the time I have had it. The little metal diaphragm of the ultrasonic element is brass not silver, so I do wipe that off every now and then, but this thing is fantastic. I always run filtered water in it. If you don't, you are either leaving the unfiltered residue in the tank, or blowing it out into your room! Give your sinuses, musical instruments and wood furniture a nice gift.

Update 10 Oct 2013: Another dry heating season has begun. I got this unit out and washed it out with lime juice. Lemon will do, as will vinegar, but the lemon or lime smells better. Then I cleaned the brass diaphragm visible in the top of the base, and off it went, running at full power. I have read reviews where units failed early. It sounds like they may have quality-control issues from time to time. I can only speak of this unit, and it has been indestructible. I run it every day all winter.

I bought this humidifier because it seemed perfect:

1, Large capacity 2 gallons or so lasts about 24 hours and isn't too heavy to re-fill

2, Cool mist OR warm mist capability I prefer warm mist, but the heating elements usually take too much cleaning

3, Virtually silent operation no loud fans, just the occasional bubble from the reservoir

4, Nice design

5, Great reviews durability and performance were both praised

6, Germ prevention not sure this is strictly necessary with a warm mist humidifier (boiling water, etc), but apparently a nice to have for cold mist humidifiers.

Believing this justified the cost, which is 2.5 times more than any other humidifier I've ever bought, I bought one. It worked pretty well for just less than 2 weeks. Then there was a loud popping noise and now it doesn't work anymore.

I will bother to exchange it for a new one, but I won't be buying any others from this maker. At the price, I would expect much greater durability (even the forty dollar humidifiers last a couple of years or so) and there should be an electronic humidistat so that you can regulate the humidity. This model only has a dial that seems to govern output. The model with a humidistat is twice the price (daylight robbery, instead of this one, which is merely standard burglary).

I'm upset with this product, but I'm even more upset with humidifier manufacturers in general. I know water and electronics don't mix, but what I'm discovering is that the only genuinely bulletproof humidifiers on the market are the buckets of water with fans ("evaporative"). Really?? That's state of the art for you guys? Can you at least hook up with Dyson and make the fans quieter?

--UPDATE--

I've now got a replacement and I've noticed a couple of differences: Firstly, the dial on the new machine does much more to regulate the amount of visible mist than the dial on my original machine. Second, the tank now lasts for at least three days instead of one or less. I already knew the original machine was faulty (it broke within 2 weeks), but based on this new information it looks like it was running at maximum, regardless of what the dial was set to. This leaves me with two important takeaways:

1, If you just bought the machine and want to know whether it's working properly, you should see a substantial change when you turn the dial, from almost no mist to lots.

2, Can the machine handle being left on maximum output continuously? I don't know, and after last time, I dare not risk it.

--UPDATE II: The sequel--

Well, the second unit that I received lasted the season and is now in storage, clean and dry. Cleaning is simpler than some of the humidifiers I've had in the past. There are no exposed tea-kettle elements, so it's just a case of washing in a weak vinegar solution. If it doesn't successfully start up again next season, I'll update this again. I will re-iterate that this humidifier is expensive. I expected it to work first time and it didn't. However, if it had I would have been as happy with this device as everyone else seems to be, so feel free to take my star rating with a grain of salt.

By the way, to partially address the comment I've had so far, this review only represents an n of 2 (not 1, smartypants). I think it's useful to tot up the star scores from all the reviews to get a reasonable proxy for the failure rate. For instance, if you do this for Samsung LCD televisions you get a 10% failure rate for a sample size that's approaching 1000. That compares pretty unfavorably with the other major marques like Sony and Sharp... but is borne out by what I've heard from sales people at electronic retail stores (ie, quasi-independent experts). Anyway, for this humidifier it's unclear because of the small sample size. At the time of writing, the failure rate looked like it was hovering around 20%, which doesn't sound great until you compare that to the failure rates of other humidifiers!

Bottom line: if I need another humidifier, this is my benchmark and I'd definitely consider buying it again ... from a store with a great return policy.

--UPDATE III: Comparison with SPT SU-4010--

I recently purchased the SPT SU-4010 from Amazon, which is another highly rated cold/warm mist humidifier. I like it for many of the same reasons that I now love the Germ Guardian. The chief difference is the SPT model is quieter (virtually silent) but puts out less mist over the same time period and has a smaller tank. If your [bedroom] is under 500 square feet and you need a silent humidifier, I'd recommend the SPT SU-4010. The ion exchange filter in that model even minimizes the "glugging" that is often the loudest noise from these type of humidifiers. If you have a larger room, or are aiming to maximize the volume of water you can get into the air over a given time, I still recommend the Germ Guardian. Note that I cannot yet speak to the reliability of the SPT SU-4010, but Consumer Reports rated it very highly. Please refer to my review of that model on this website if you'd like to progress updates for that model.

--UPDATE IV: Just bought another--

Saw a refurbished version of this Germ Guardian on an Amazon-affiliated website for half the price of a big warehouse store and bought it. Everything seems fine, although I've noticed a slightly disturbing difference in output from this one, which is now the third one of these I've owned. This one has to be cranked much higher to achieve the same mist in identical conditions. That could be because it's refurbished or it could be because there is a great deal of variability... Either way, something to bear in mind. I'm putting both away for the summer now so there won't be any more updates until next winter. I did a quick clean with a dilute solution of standard household vinegar and that should leave these ready to go then.

This is our second humidifier we've purchased from this manufacturer. We originally bought the one with the alarm clock, which is a great product and now we decided to buy this one. It is much more powerful & keeps our house very comfortable. (the original one we bought is in our bedroom). It's definitely a benefit that you don't have to constantly buy new filters.

Honest reviews on Pure Guardian H4500 144 Hour Ultrasonic Humidifier

I heat my house with wood heat and I needed two new humidifiers. After reading lots of reviews I liked this one because it has a large reservoir, it is quiet and it has the choice of cool or warm mist. After running them for a week they are great. The 2.5 gallon reservoir lasts all day and night set at about 80% setting. It is very quiet except for a little glug when the water drains into the unit. The mist is a little damp and could wet things where it falls, so plan accordingly.

The reservoir is not well balanced when filling but you get used to it. Cleaning is a snap and cleans up perfectly. The night light is too bright for a bedroom but the on/off light does enough of a night light for me.

Overall, I am very happy with these units and would buy them again.

I bought them from "Radio City Auctions" through Amazon and they came quickly and safely.

As reported in other reviews, this humidifier will leave a while film if the water used is not filtered or distilled. This film is not as benign as described in some other reviews (explanation below). If I had easy and/or inexpensive access to filtered water I would give this product 5 stars it works great, virtully noiseless as advertized, and virtually maintenance free with there being no filters to replace.

I've got one at home and one at the office. The tap water I have access to at work is treated (clorine), but not softened, and it's likley rather hard considering all of the minerals in the water here. After a few days running in the office the white film appeared on nearly every dark surface in the room (especially computer keyboard, printer, phone). Then my printer in my office started malfunctioning, then our copier. The copier repairman discovered the white film inside the copier, fouling up sensors and causing malfunction. He told us we'd have to stop using the humidifier or it would continue to cause problems. I now know why I had to just spend $400 on a new office printer as well. This dust that is emitted from the humidifier can float through the tiniest of cracks and holes and can deposit on nooks and crannies everywhere plenty of places you can't reach with a dust rag, much less a Q-tip. Pressurized air dusting spray does not seem to remove the dust effectively either.

I've got another at my home, 35 miles away, where our tap water is well water, which is untreated hard water. Here I've only noticed a small bit of the white film, on only a few of the darkest, shiniest surfaces. What appears on this humidifier that does not appear in the humidifier in the office, however, is a pinkish amber colored slime mold / mildew on the bottom side of the reservior (visible only when you refill the reservoir). This is probably becasue this water is not treated with clorine, and this part of the humidifier is creating a perfect breeding ground for bacterias, mold, mildew, etc. I'm not sure exactly what this slimy substance is, or if it's presence in the humidifier raises any health concerns. So I'm going to deduce that my water at home has less minerals in it that can turn into this white dust. I'm not sure if clorine in city water could also cause this white dust as well.

The bottom line is, if your water is perfect, this humidifier is close to perfect. If your water is not perfect, you may have some serious problems with this unit, and I would not reccomend it. I would strongly warn anybody against using this in a room with electronic devices if they are not totally sure their water is filtered properly.

Vornado HU1-0021-28 Whole-Room Evaporative Humidifier

After owning this for some 2+ years, I have updated this review and raised the rating. The following text is updated:

We have owned a number of humidifiers in the past. The last one we owned (& liked) was the now discontinued Vornado model (the ugly gray box w/ 2 water tanks and a fan that sat in the lid). This new version, solves some of the problems of the old design and creates new problems of its own. As another reviewer has noted, the beauty of the old system was its simplicity (read: fewer parts to clean). That simplicity, is somewhat gone.

The biggest improvement is the noise level. The old design made a loud gargling sound periodically as the air bubbled into the tanks. Further, the lid with the fan, sometimes did not sit right and made a buzzing vibration sound.

The other major improvement, that it has taken me sometime to appreciate, is that there is less water sitting around in a basin that can collect junk and grow nasty stuff. This ended up needing less cleaning than the orignal model. On the other hand, the black color also makes it harder to appreciate mold inside the unit.

The new tank now has a filling cap that locks into the tank. There is a separate fancier spring loaded drain for water to move into the basin. I had some concern abou the top of the tank not being flat and making the filling more difficult. However, it seems sturdy enough as long as you are careful and don't use as much high pressure to fill it. There is no longer an option for two tanks, so more refill runs.

As for the rest of the design, there is now a physical separation between the evaporation chamber, and where the water tank is placed. This is mostly nice, since you don't have to worry about bugs and other junk falling into the evaporation chamber. You have to be a little more vigilant about mold buildup inside the chamber since it is closed off and not visible on every refill.

On the plus side, the fan is more securely attached to the rest of the humidifier, thus reducing noise.

As far as humidification, it still works great. The fan is quieter and just as efficient (if not more). The fancy electronic humidification settings seem to work well and allow for less over-humidification (fewer refills). So in summary:

quiet

efficient

not as simple a design as the older model

more parts but seems to need less cleaning.

After having used other humidifier brands/types in the past, I decided to replace it due to electricity and cleaning (scrubbing) of the heating element.

This Vornado brand humidifier has been doing a great job of adding humidity into the air since my home has forced air heat. Ultrasonics did not raise the humidity that much, but this Vornado does and it maintains the humidity level throughout the day for my entire upstairs floor (about 900 sq feet). I checked it with a hydrometer to see if it was working. It works great and has a built in humidistat so when I come home I do not have to worry about getting shocked or my windows being fogged like when I had a warm steam. It seems fairly easy to clean, after about three-five weeks I just lift the fan hood up and pull out the wicks, dump em and replace them with new ones. I'd probably clean the base too, wipe clean or maybe run through dishwasher. In addition I use a protec antibacterial ball that you throw in the water tank to limit the possibility of bacteria growing. I would advise not buy any type of humidifier unless you can maintain it. Its like a car, you gotta change the oil and filter.

Bottom Line: Reliable, reasonably priced (shop around) Easy to use, very quiet, circulates/freshens air, fairly easy to clean/maintain, looks unobtrusive to the room, durable quality, 5 year warranty. The only other one I'd recommend if you don't want an evaporator type is the Honeywell HWM 450 warm mist.

Best Deals for Vornado HU1-0021-28 Whole Room Evaporative Humidifier

First of all, there is no perfect humidifier. Some of us who rely on adding humidity to our houses/rooms for health reasons have been searching for at least a good humidifier for years. Ultrasonics are quiet but even the pricey ones still cause white dust. Steam is quiet but not suitable for bigger spaces. And evaporative, fan driven ones (such as this vornado) tend to be a bit noisey...regardless of what their manufacturers say. AND all types require regular cleaning. All that said this is a good choice for a medium sized room. I'm using it in a large living area well beyond it's rated capacity and it still adds a good comfort level.

The three speed fan is very quiet on low. The medium and high settings, which are needed to really be effective, will probably bother light sleepers if used in a bedroom.

Maintenance is easy.

Jan 2010 update:

Based on my experience with this humidifier and other reviewers comments I have removed my last comment in this review which stated "recommended". Mine is in it's second year of seasonal operation but has a noisey motor. Too bad Vornado skimped on this appliance.

March 2011 update: My Vornado humidifier is still working and a little squirt of WD 40 into the motor shaft quiets it down except for the normal fan noise. My adult son, also a allergy sufferer, bought a identical Vornado humidifier and is very happy with it. Recommended again...just be aware you may have to lubricate the motor/fan shaft occasionally.

Honest reviews on Vornado HU1-0021-28 Whole Room Evaporative Humidifier

I spent a good amount of time researching my options before I purchase this over 1 year ago, and came to the conclusion that this was my best option.

Last week the motor suddenly stopped working last week when I put it into service for the first time this year (a short of some kind as it started smoking). However, it has a 5 year warrantee, so I am about to investigate getting it replaced.

While it worked, I liked enough that I bought a 2nd one for the kids' room. That 2nd one made an awful racket when I first turned it on, however it was easy enough to get a quick exchange at BBB.

It is quiet enough for me to sleep to and loud enough to provide decent background noise for my wife and puts out plenty of moisture without creating wet spots or dust or difficult to clean residue. Replacement wicks are easy to obtain and all the minerals left behind are in the discarded wick and not cemented to the humidifyer (I hated cleaning our old hot mister evaporater).

I would recommend it, but be prepared to return it for another one.

For 3-4 months these units work great.

BUT THEN even with extremely careful use in a climate controlled, unfinished basement...

I owned THREE of the previous model with the exact same features and specifications (except the Energy Efficiency Rating was a bit higher on the previous model) and FOUR of this model.

On the three previous models one FAILED in two months, and the remaining two FAILED within 9 months. Apparently, there is a MAJOR PROBLEM with the design, parts, and/or assembly that allows the refrigerant to slowly leak from the system. Thus, after a few months (typically) the coils start to slowly frost over lightly when the compressor activates, decreasing moisture removal. Quickly, the problem worsens. Soon, the unit is CONSTANTLY frosting over, defrosting itself, frosting over, defrosting, etc when activated by the humidistat.

On the four of the current model... One was Dead On Arrival. One, the compressor would never engage (even when set on Continuous). And, the remaining two began the constant cycling between frosting over and defrosting after only 4 or 5 months of use.

In addition, on these two units the metal framing that holds the coils rusted EXTREMELY QUICKLY to the point that the water receptacle is now discolored bright red-orange AND chunks of rusted metal appear in collection bucket daily AND small rust flakes are expelled with the air from the top of the unit.

Definitely NOT what one would expect from a dehumidifier that costs between $150.00-$200.00 PER UNIT.

Saw some bad reviews on the model and wanted to put in my 2 cents. I bought one of these to replace one that was in the basement when we bought our house. For 3 years its been running almost non-stop (does turn off at set humidity level in winter but spring to fall is constant). When the second one in the basement that came with the house dies I got an LG on sale at Home Depot and its dead after less than 2 years. Looking to get another GE to replace that piece of crap LG.

Best Deals for GE 50 Pint White Dehumidifier - ADEH50LP

We purchased this dehumidifier after reading a recommendation from the Consumer Reports website (our faith in Consumer Reports went down after our experience with this product). We initially were happy with our purchase; however, after 7 months the device stopped working:

A) the built-in hygrometer appeared to malfunction and the device stopped removing moisture from the air (unless we set it to remove moisture continuously, which is an option on the device)

B) after using the device in "continuous" mode for 1 week, ice crystals began forming on the front of the device we turned it off and called GE.

Their solution was to ship us a "good will certificate" for the purchase of another GE dehumidifier (the certificate is worth a maximum of $250). We're in the process of ordering a new one.

The device operated in a climate controlled section of our home. We also own a Delonghi DD50P Dehumidifier purchased at the same time: The Delonghi operates in our garage which is not climate controlled and is still functioning well.

While GE support was kind/responsive, this GE product was unreliable/appears to be poorly engineered and/or manufactured.

Honest reviews on GE 50 Pint White Dehumidifier - ADEH50LP

It seems to work fine in my basement. I was confused at first because it seemed that the fan ran constantly while the compressor cycled on and off based on the humidity setting, but then I discovered that the fan runs for just a few minutes after the compressor turns off. Wish the manual mentioned that behavior. So now my only complaint is that something is rattling in the water reservoir and I haven't figured out what it is so am just living with it. Not a huge deal, just a slight annoyance since i'm not in the basement that often. Rating = 4 stars.

6/1/13 update: I only use the unit in the summer when the humidity level in the basement gets too high. When I turned it on this year (season 3) the fan blew but the compressor never turned on. I took it to be repaired and was told the compressor was leaky and not repairable. It only had a one year warranty, so I'm out of luck. Plan to buy a Frigidaire replacement, but I suspect all the newer units are not built to last like my old bullet-proof Wards unit (it was running fine after 20+ years but was a little short on capacity and I thought a newer one would be more efficient, so replaced it). Reduced the rating to one star.

I have used this unit for two years and it has performed flawlessly. Our well water is naturally soft and I have replaced the evaporator wick just once a year. I have used the fan on setting one and the humidity setting about half until it gets so cold out that it builds up on the windows and I reduce accordingly. We heat with a wood fired furnace. We add bacteria treatment with every fill. I highly recommend this machine.

This is a great great humidifier! I have had this for ten years! THERE IS A SECRET ABOUT THE FILTER. It took me several years to figure it out.Unlike EVERY other humidifier I have ever owned, this FILTER "quits" working if it gets TO moist/unused!! If you "dry" it out, let it sit out in the heat for a couple of days or so, it will start working again like new. You can tell right away if it is dried out enough. -CamaroGreg.

This thing does a great job when you first put an air filter in. After about two weeks, the filter needs to be replaced. I've owned my Essick humidifier for well over 18 YEARS. I have advanced emphysema and moist air is much healthier for me than dry. The only thing I've had to buy annually is a new wick and the antibacterial liquid to add to the water. Last year I had my first problem with the switch that is supposed to turn it off when the water level gets low. I'll have to save my pennies and buy a new one I guess because the people at Essick couldn't help me on that.

I have an evaporizing humidifier. I dropped one of these in the tank and my filter was good for almost a month. The indicator barely moved. I removed the cartridge from the tank and intended on getting a new one from the store. I put it off and forgot and my filter was bad by the end of the week. My new filter only lasted 2 weeks without the cartridge. This cartridge extended my filter life by almost double. Probably would have been longer if I had replaced the cartridge sooner. $30.00 later & replacing my filter AGAIN I'm buying more of these. They definitely help.

*and changing the cartridge once a month is extremely convienient compared to liquid chemical solutions you have to add each time u fill the tank*

I use to have to change my filter every 2-3 days because of mold forming on the humidifier filter, but with this cartridge I now go sometimes 3 weeks without changing the filter which saves a lot of money. In addition, the manufacturer says that the cartridges last 30 days, but I use mine for about 2 months (yeah to save even more), and it still works! Those normally cost 6$ a piece, so this offer from amazon was great.

So far this product is doing it's job as expected. The tank is filled up with fresh water every night and it's still crystal clear. No mold or mildew or any other noticeable issues. So far no complaints from me!

Before I found these I was always replacing filters because they would look disgusting. Since I started using these cartridges my filters last longer and I'm saving a lot of money! And it's extremely easy to use. Just drop one in the tank! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with a humidifier!

I use our Vicks humidifier every night with our little one. I purchased this to keep the tank clean. There isn't any other way to clean the tank, so you just drop it in and let it do its work. It is very inexpensive for the use you get out of it. Since I got this, I haven't had to change the filter as often. I change it every 2 weeks vs every few days. I am not sure why I didn't get this to begin with.
