I love this unit It's very simply constructed, but works very well. The mist begins almost immediately when you turn the machine on and it does a good job of emiting fragrance into the air considering it's size. I own another diffuser made by a well known company, which was twice the price and doesn't work anywhere near as well. I'm ordering several more of these as Christmas gifts! The one thing I will warn you about is the time it takes for this to arrive. I missed the notation about it shipping from China when I ordered it so I was expecting it to arrive within a few days as my orders from Amazon always do, however it took two weeks for this to get here. I think it actually might have been on "a slow boat from China"! So make sure to figure the transit time into your plans when you order it. It took a while to get here, but it was worth the wait.

I recently purchased this great aroma diffuser. I can't say enough good about it!! It's a nice size and super easy to use. Just lift off the top, add water and essential oils, put the top back on and push the button then forget about it. It has a timer adjustment, it will run for 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours or set it to run continuously (mine lasted an entire day). There are 15 different light color settings, which includes not having a light on at all. The mist it gives out is just as shown in the photo. Within minutes I can smell the essential oil all throughout my house. I have two of these for my own personal use and one for my office. I ordered extras and sold them to my friends because I wanted them to also enjoy this great product....I wish I had ordered more now. The product has a one year manufacturer warranty. When I first opened it I was worried that the power cord wasn't included, but it was packed neatly inside the diffuser...so if you choose to buy one, look there before panicing like I did. :) Only thing left to say is that I would definately purchase this again and I would certainly recommend it to anyone considering buying one. I bought the humidifier for my son. He has asthma and really has a hard time breathing in the fall. The procuct has made an amazing difference. It did take about 2-3 weeks to arrive from China but it was worth the wait.

Medium sized humidors are hard to find and usually quite pricey, so I thought this larger humidor would be a great option for me instead of running two 125 count humidors, especially given the one glowing review on Amazon it has. First and probably most importantly, this humidor simply doesn't have the excellent seal the other review states it has. The seal at the doors is very shallow. The doors are held together by small earth magnets, which keep it probably about 97% sealed, but that 3% means my Cigar Oasis is not coming on 3-4 times a day as it should, but at least once an hour because of the shallow seal. My other concern is that very little of the inside is solid Spanish cedar: it is lined (and not even completely) with cedar veneer. While some veneer is certainly to be expected, I fear the humidity is going to swell some of the inside over time given lack of solid wood, too thin cheap cedar veneer, exposed manufactured wood (mdf?) on bottom of drawers.

I purchased one of these recently on Woot for $130. Terrible purchase.

1) Way overpriced. As a fan, it's worth about $30.

2) The mister does not really work it does not create a "mist" like you'd expect it's barely more than a glorified humidifier, worth about $20.

3) The total value then is about $50.

ALSO: the design leaves much to be desired unstable and easy to tip over, casters do not stay in place and fall out, and the biggest joke is the DISPLAY which is this utterly annoying flashing LED display as if it were the speedometer of a car 0 really annoying and there's no way to turn the display off.

Also, the units power switch only affect the fan, but no the mister to turn the mister off you have to shut it off separately. And the front panel controls are poorly laid out and it is very difficult to read what each one it. The layout make no sense whatsoever.

In short, very little though has gone into this product. It is definitely NOT worth the $150 being charged here on Amazon.

Works great in Desert, under 6% humidity. Not a wet mist, just a cooling mist, but don't think would be good in higher humidity, over 15%. Been 110dg 3% humidity, really helps.

This is an affordable humidifier. It is not perfectly quiet as are some humidifiers. It uses a fan to evaporate the water. Advantages: it uses tap water and does not spread white dust around the areas being humidified. The filters are reasonably cheap and trap the dissolved minerals in the unit. Other than the noise it makes, this is a great product. If you like it quiet to sleep, put it in another room. If you put it on a low setting, its noise is not annoying where you are active in the daytime. I don't recommend it for use in the bedroom unless you don't mind some noise while you sleep or are trying to go to sleep. I own two of these units and use them to keep the air moist in my home. They really do help.

This is a cute little humidifier that can be plugged into an outlet or in your computer's USB port. That's what attracted me to it, because the air gets so dry in winter in my office I can put this close to me while I am working. I could feel a difference when it was on in a small space. It's very easy to use, just soak the small wick a couple minutes in water before use and you're ready to go. It comes with two extra wicks and adapters for your computer and outlet which is very nice. The only complaint is there is no auto off when it's out of water, so you have to be vigilant. It says you get about 4 hours of use from a full reservoir of water. It's only about 4 inches wide so it doesn't get in the way on my desk. So far I really like this innovative product. I don't think I've seen another one just like it anywhere. I would recommend it for office workers or students who are affected by dry heated air in winter.

I suffer from dry sore eyes as well as dry skin during the winter as a result of dry heated air. Although I have a whole house humidifier, my eyes still become dry and sore during the night. This little humidifier provides just the additional moisture needed next to my bed at night to prevent my eye problem. It is totally silent in operation and in spite of an advertised 4 hour run time, my experience has been that it runs 8-9 hours if I start with it a bit above the fill line (almost to the top of the fill cup). I use distilled water which I would recommend to avoid scale problems and greatly prolong filter life. Also, with distilled water, no additives are needed. You can purchase distilled water in most grocery stores and since it uses so little, the humidifier will be economical to run. But if you use a de-humidifier in the summer, you can bottle some of its recovered water and get distilled water for free. This is a great product as long as you don't expect it to humidify a large area. But for a small boost in humidity in a bedroom or office it does a remarkable job for a low price.

This unit works, but that's about the best I can say. It is simple and cheap and does put out a small stream of vapor. Don't expect output like a larger unit, but if it is blowing right at you it would be noticeable. Word of warning I ran it out of water overnight and it self-destructed. It burned up and was not repairable. They warn that it does not have low water protection but I didn't realize it would destroy it. So don't run it out of water.

This humidifier is great for my workstation, even though it doesn't create humidity as much as it spits a fine mist of water at you. But my problem lies in the wick: replacements only seem to be available online (through the manufacturer) and are $3.99 for a six-pack. Okay, that's not bad until you factor in the additional $10.00 for UPS Ground shipping. TEN DOLLARS to ship one box of replacement wicks to my house. The machine came with 2 wicks included but I went through those in 2 months and still had 2 months of dry, wintery air.

I will forever be super sad I didn't do my research before buying a small humidifier for work. I was so taken in by the cuteness of the device that I didn't even think in practical terms like finding replacement wicks. From here on out, I'm looking for a personal humidifier that does not require wicks or filters or any parts that will incur additional expense. Save your money and look elsewhere.

I have an evaporizing humidifier. I dropped one of these in the tank and my filter was good for almost a month. The indicator barely moved. I removed the cartridge from the tank and intended on getting a new one from the store. I put it off and forgot and my filter was bad by the end of the week. My new filter only lasted 2 weeks without the cartridge. This cartridge extended my filter life by almost double. Probably would have been longer if I had replaced the cartridge sooner. $30.00 later & replacing my filter AGAIN I'm buying more of these. They definitely help.

I use to have to change my filter every 2-3 days because of mold forming on the humidifier filter, but with this cartridge I now go sometimes 3 weeks without changing the filter which saves a lot of money. In addition, the manufacturer says that the cartridges last 30 days, but I use mine for about 2 months (yeah to save even more), and it still works! Those normally cost 6$ a piece, so this offer from amazon was great.

I use our Vicks humidifier every night with our little one. I purchased this to keep the tank clean. There isn't any other way to clean the tank, so you just drop it in and let it do its work. It is very inexpensive for the use you get out of it. Since I got this, I haven't had to change the filter as often. I change it every 2 weeks vs every few days. I am not sure why I didn't get this to begin with.

Due to space issues in my tiny house, the only place to put my desktop computer is in my bedroom, so I was looking for something that would offset the positive ions from my 'puter. I ordered this negative ion generator from Amazon and have used it for a few weeks. When the room has been shut up for awhile and I enter it, the air does smell better. Other than that, I can't detect any difference. For a real improvement, I suppose I'll have to order one of the serious (and seriously expensive) air purifiers. Oh well, it was worth a shot.
