I ordered this humidor in the Spring of 2013 and I have been using it very regularly during my summer travels. I love this humidor and I didn't have any problem opening it. It holds and protects the cigars perfectly with one exception. The top row of cigars will press against the humidifier and if you use a propylene solution on the humidifier, it will get on your cigars. My solution for this is to stack the 1st and 2nd level cigars on each other and put the foam divider on top to protect them from the humidifier.Other than that, this is a must buy for the traveling cigar smoker and it's a great price on amazon.
