One of the best products that I have used for all 3 of my humidors. I have the 250count rectangle. But I am sure the smaller works just as well. The Boveda packs left my humidors fluctuating way too much. I picked up 3 of the 250ct rectangles. I am very glad I took the store clerks advice. No need to premeasure your beeds. That's the best part. Very simple to use. Fill the plastic rectangle with the DR.RH solution to the top. After 20 mins it's ready to use. Just shake off any access water and toss it in your humidor and forget about it. I get a 68-69% range of humidity in my box consistently. And that's just fine with me. Where 5 Boveda 70% packets would barely get me any higher then 65-67%. I like my sticks around 69% RH.

P.S. it does come with a sticky magnetic backing if you want to hang it on a wall in your humidor.

I replace these every year, and usually pay the maintenance company to do it. Not anymore, these are the genuine pads, at a much better price. And, with excellent and timely shipping, this is a great way to save some money.

This is the OEM pad for Honeywell HE260/HE360 humidifiers. I have the HE 360 on my furnace, and purchase these pads as I replace them every year. Since they are from Honeywell, they fit and work as intended. My heating company was charging significantly more to replace the pads, I suppose the higher cost was for their labor, but it only takes a minute to change a pad. It's much cheaper to buy these and install myself. As I said, it only takes a minute and is easy to do.

If you have a home humidifier you need to keep the pad in it fresh. Depending on your water quality you may need to replace the pad a few times each heating season and it is best to check on them monthly during the cold winter months. Once they dry out they're pretty much useless and if left in a unit way too long they'll start to get very nasty.

This pad was a perfect fit for our Honeywell 365 model and works great for a couple of months before you'll notice it drying up. I wish there was a better solution for humidifiers but these pads seem to be the norm. Luckily the price is low enough that it is worth changing the pad two or three times a winter.

Great alternative to constantly filling foam humidifiers. Using them in two desktop humidors, a small tupperdor, and an extra large tupperdor. Follow the manufacturer's guidelines and you'll have stable rh without the maintenance headaches.

Boveda humidity packs are a fantastic way to keep your humidor at the correct percentage, while at the same time, remove most of the worry about mold. Traditional humidification methods often lead to mold at some point in time. I've found that the Boveda packs have reduced the chance of mold growth substantially. Life of the packs varies, despite what Boveda may indicate; usually about 2 months on average. A humidor of 50 cigars will require 3 packs for proper humidity control. Larger humidors will need up to 5 packs.

I purchased this item to help aid a vaporless humidifier. Our home is extremely dry during winter, registering at only 18% humidity.

Within an hour of plugging in the SU-2081B, humidity levels jumped to 44% in our 300 sq ft master bedroom. I soon found that I no longer needed the first vaporless humidifier, and found the SU-2081B worked wonders all on its own.

Be aware, this DOES emit a cloud of vapor, but it dissapates quickly and over the last two months has created no moisture or mold issues at all. It even has a built in register that allows you to set the level of humidity you prefer. We set ours at 35%, and the machine turns itself on and off to maintain that level.

It also has an Ionizer and a nightlight, neither of which we've used, but it's nice to know they are available.

The best part is the swivel nozel that allows up and down direction of the mist as well as a 360 degree rotation.

For a 300 sqft room, I need to refill the container once a day. Really easy to use and we could not be happier.

I am not sure if my place is just EXTREMELY dry but the humidity level hardly moves! I have it running almost 24/7 and can't really tell much of a difference. However I do like the light!

These are not true Kenmore filters. The real Kenmore filters are way better. I like saving a buck as much as the next guy,and i always shop for the lowest price whenever i can,but this filter is junk. On rare occasions,it pays to get the original parts,THIS IS ONE OF THOSE TIMES. You even have to be careful when you buy these from Sears. Buy them straight from SEARS.COM , and not from the PARTS department. The generic filters don't soak up water very well, the real Kenmore filters will draw water throughout the entire filter,making them 80% more effective.

These "waffle cut" wicks do not wick water up well at all and thus air circulating through them does not pick up much moisture.The original Kenmore brand wicks are a little more expensive but much more effective at humidifying the air.

No matter what i did there was static everywhere in my home. My sister gave us a humidifier but there wasn't any paper work or directions on what size filters it took. After some searching i did find them and it was so easy to change and insert the new ones. And what's best of all no static. I couldn't believe it would make that much difference.

I thought these filters were good and comparible with the original Kenmore sears filter but after reading the reviews about these not putting moisture in the air, I realize now that we didn't seem to have the moisture that we had previous with the original wick filters. The humidifier just didn't seem to work as well last winter as before and now I know why. thanks to the other comments (on these filters). I will pay a little more to get the original filters from sears next winter.

The local retail stores did not carry this product, now they are pushing PAPER evaporators instead of METAL, and want you to believe that is better. Plus they are charging the same as they did for the metal ones, and want you to replace it twice a season (paper and water equals mush). If you want the REAL DEAL that will work well and last, buy this one. Price, order processing and quick delivery was outstanding! I would buy again and recommend both this company and this product. This is as basic as it gets, but that's great. Two electrodes in the vaporizer part pass a current through the water (add salt to the water per the instructions), turning it to steam. This puts out a gallon or so of water in a night. Yes, the electrodes disintegrate over time, leaving pieces in the tank, but they just pour out when you empty the excess water. After a few years, our first unit isn't working very well anymore, but we just bought another for what you'd pay for just the filter of a more expensive humidifier.

We have a large humidifier for the main spaces of our house; this vaporizer is too small and not meant to run continuously all winter long. But when someone has a cold, this goes in the bedroom for the night and works pefectly. We've never used any medicines with it, so I can't comment on that feature, but it produces steam and humidifies a room well.

I bought mine a few years ago when my kids started nursery school. They always came home with colds and flu, blocked or runny noses, they (and I) did not get much sleep. After I started using the vaporizer with an inhalant they slept like logs, no blocked/runny noses, and the wheezing stopped immediately. We purchased this humidifier, because it looked like one we have had for years. The newer models have parts that are easily broken. Once destroyed, you have to throw the whole appliance away. This humidifier doesn't have these intricate parts and works like it is supposed to work. We do have hard water, so every so often, we add a little white vinegar to the water. It does smell, so you can do it when you leave the house for a couple of hours.

I live in dry desert country and this humidifier is a godsend on dry days in the house. However, we bought it for overnight use and either it churns out copious amounts of steam and runs out within 3-4 hours, rendering it useless for an 8-hour overnight stretch, or it just sort of puffs pathetically, releasing tiny amount of steam throughout the night to where you don't even feel its effects. I've tried different additives (salt, baking soda) to figure out if it's a hard water/pH issue or whatever, and I can't figure it out. It's completely inconsistent, so we don't use it all that much. If I could go back I'd skip this one and get a 2-gallon humidifier instead in the hopes that it would at least get through the night.

In the past, the humidfiers I had were complex, with moving parts, a tendency to break, and a need for constant maintenance like replacing filters and cleaning.

This vaporizer avoids all those problems. There are no moving parts and no filters. The case is very durable. Mold doesn't grow in this, so I don't need to clean it often. And it is very easy to clean, anyways.

The one thing that got me at the beginning was that I didn't know you need to add salt to the water in order for it to work. But once you add the salt, if you refill the tank before it is completely drained, you won't need to add salt again.
