I did buy it for my son (he is 9) and he doesn't very much care that is pink. He said it helps his sleep and his nose doesn't bleed anymore. I like it. It's quiet and it lasts almost 24 hours.

After you've looked at humidifiers in 100 different stores and there are all $40+ for anything halfway decent I was skeptical that I would ever find anything I wanted for a low price. I love this humidifier I'm so glad I got it especially for the price. It's a cool mist which balances out the super dry and really hot base board heat that I have.
