The steamer works great...and the finish appears to be able to hold up over time. It holds two 1/2 quarts of water...and our little cast iron stove has it steaming in no time.

I was worried about it being too shallow, but this big girl had more than enough room for 4 or more cups of water at once. It's very sturdy and HEAVY. Make sure to have a spare watering can to transport water to this vessel. Also keep a oven mitt near, as the top heats up quite a bit. Shipping took little longer than I would have liked but it was worth the wait. Beautiful, quality piece.

really wanted the dragon for a Christmas gift. Recognized many other steamers at

this site at a great price. The steamers in town were double the price of the
