Every Christmas I start my holiday shopping trying to find that special gift for my inlaws [who seem to have everything]. This year I was thinking something with soothing sounds, or maybe an aromatherapy machine--but nothing grabbed me. Then I spotted this diffuser on amazon. It's beautiful and larger than it looks online, so it's pretty solid.

I wasn't able to be there for Christmas (they live out-of-state) but my husband tells me the water reservoir is easy to fill and it puts out a strong mist. Just a few drops of oil keep the house fragrant for hours. The changing colors add a nice touch, too. The only thing missing is the option to set it on one of the cycling pre-programmed sounds and keep it there.

Had issue with the automatic background sound-would play even though was turned off at a quieter level, still annoying. Colors on and off can be annoying. Mister and aromatherapy aspect was great though. FOund this actually being used at a very high end spa.

would have given it 5 stars but there is no turn off feature, just have to unplug it. There is a pricier model that has a remote control but it costs $100 more. I love that it runs for 6 plus hours and there is no chance of causing a fire unlike the tea candle diffusers.
