It's very small and uses a wick. The first one I bought stopped working after a couple of days for no apparent reason. Had to return. The replacement continues to work, but works best when completely filled to keep the wick wet. If it isn't used every day and is allowed to empty, the wick has to be taken out and soaked again to get it going. There's no control for how much mist you get, only on/off. It is big enough to run for about twelve hours.

bought this from a local store. it blows a nice mist that I like but the box said it runs 10 hours. pamplet inside says not to leave house for 6 hours with it running. we slept six to seven hours and it was completely dry.

In a world where size matters, this "doll house" size unit just doesn't cut it. Cute, adorable as a flower vase, but not enough output unless you are giving your Barbie doll a facial. There's a reason it has only one speed, as you would be out of water relatively quickly with a second or third speed. As it is, you might make it through the night with the current capacity, if you take cat naps. I suggest spending $10.00 $20.00 more and get the real deal! Really unimpressed!!!
