We purchased this for our baby's room when she was teething and having trouble sleeping at night. The plug-in itself is great because you can adjust the intensity of the aroma; you can also insert one VapoPad or two, which further controls the intensity. It also has a soft green night light.

The VapoPad has very soothing aromatic vapors: Rosemary Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, and Lavendar Oil. These aromas are all ideal for calming, relaxation, and sleeping. The unit comes with four VapoPads. You can purchase refills when you have used all of them: Vicks Soothing Vapors Replacement Pads.

I don't know if this is a glorified air freshener or not but whatever it is my son hasn't made a peep for the last 2 nights we have used it. He was sleeping horribly because of a nasty cold. The night we plugged this in he rolled over, closed his eyes & we didn't hear from him til morning, as well as the next night. Maybe he was feeling better, maybe he was just that exhausted and it's a coincidence but I can't say anything negative about them. Oh... well, the aroma is a bit overwhelming at first but that didn't seem to bother my son. The low setting is high enough.

I really love this product. The amount of light that it gives off is just right, and the scent does work to keep my son snuffle-free at night. I really do hate the smell of the pads that are used, however. I like the smell of menthol that the vaporizer gives off, but the pads themselves smell awfully, and I dread having to change it!

We got this product for my 6mo old baby. He had a bad cold, it seems the Vapors is helping him to sleep better. Read the instructions, pads MUST NOT be placed on any furniture, clothes OR/AND SKIN! We place this product in a very small room and Works great, but the smell is strong, I guess it will work on a middle-sized room too. The light is not annoying at all,and it has an individual light "control" tap. I only wish it had an auto-off setting, but it works great anyway. It is amazing that it seems to work better tan a full sized humidifier/vaporizer.

The vaporizer works very well. The entire bedroom smells like vicks. Helps a lot, they do last long for the whole night until the following day.
