Review of BestAir CBW9 Bionaire 900 Replacement Wick Filter

Customer Ratings:

I'm very happy with this wick filter made by BestAir. It fits perfectly on my older Bionaire humidifier, and it is also easy to intall. I purchased this wick filter because it said "helps protect the filter from the growth and migration of mold, fungus, and bacteria", I think this is the reason I choosed this product. Next time I will certainly purchase other fine products such as cleaner & other treatment for my old Bionaire humidifier from the same company. Thanks.

This was bought for our office humidifier, a BIG unit. Not much to say except the product arrived quickly, good packaging, and it does it's job.

What can I say, it does what it is supposed to do. I know that some replacements have a frame around them; for our air cleaner/humidifier they work fine without the frames.

It was exactly what we needed. We could not find anything locally and this was great. We are totally delighted.

A Perfect fit for my older model humidifier. Very hard to find in stores. The second time I purchased here.

Reviews of Golf Bag Cigar Humidor

Customer Ratings:

This was a great gift for my dad who usually smokes his cigars out on the golf course. It's nice that it has the cedar and humidifior. My concern, and I don't know if this is true or not, is whether the cigars would absorb the plastic smell of the bag itself. I suppose after use the smell would dissapate... but food for thought if you are looking at this for a serious Connoisseur. Also, the sides are soft so you'd have to be careful about banging this thing around too much. Nice pocket in front for lighter, cutter, etc.

Have had a golf bag cigar humidor in the past and the zippers didn't last 3 months. This bag has lasted for close to a year and the zippers still work fine. Highly recommend to all my cigar smoking buds who need to keep a few cigars close for enjoying after work.

This was a cute idea so I ordered one for my son. Unfortunately the zipper broke after one day. I was unable to return the product because there was a limited warranty. It was not expensive, but I was disappointed.

Novelty travel humidor with great design execution. This humidor easily carries five cigars in comfort and style. The included round humidifier ensures that your cigars will stay fresh during your outing or travel. The lid does have an inner lip that ensures effective sealing to keep the internal humidity up even in dry conditions. The "ball pocket" is quite large enough for a triple flame lighter as well as a guillotine cutter, scissor cutter, and a folding draw spike. I bought one for a friend, then bought one for myself.

although not in origianl packaging, seems like they work great! I will buy again from this vendor when I run out.

This product is basically as described, but seems to be lesser quality than the one that came with the original product. These ones deteriorate faster than the original--more of a paper quality than a plasti-paper quality.

Winter dryness is a real problem when we get our fireplace running. In the past we have scrambled to find the right size filters in our local retail stores...and usually they don't have the right size. It's been great finding them on Amazon....and I intend to keep ahead of the season and be stocked up.

How worthless? Let me count the ways, unless you are a child, the fit does not fit. This is not an electrical device and you are only allowed to use hot tap water, about a cup's worth, so there is no steam. Save yourself a bit of money and have a hot cup of tea, it will surely produce more steam than this ill-conceived gizmo.

This is not as big as it looks in the picture. It is tiny! You have to heat up the water yourself separately and then pour it into this piece of junk. There is no electric heating. Stay away from this.

After reading the reviews here I wondered why on earth I had purchased this contraption. But I decided to give it a try because I had a VERY stuffy nose, it was late at night, and I was desperate. When I breathed in the vapors as indicated by the illustration on the directions not much happened. Then I tried placing my face/mouth directly on the unit creating a "seal" and breathing in deeply. The medicated vapors flooded my throat and lungs and then to my surprise I was instantly able to breathe freely through my nose! After six days of dealing with an incredibly stuffy nose, this seemed like a miracle to me! The relief was temporary but could be attained again by repeating the process. It really did help to open my nose, cool my throat, and quiet my cough. This will be coming along with me on vacation next week!

I bought this product for my husband, his cold had aggravated his bronchials, giving him a slight asthmatic cough. He loves it! The trick is how to use this. I heat water up until hot in the microwave, add it to the bottom cup and then add about a teaspoon of salt and the Vicks pad. Then he holds the product over his mouth, covers the little air intake hole in the back and draws on the vapor slightly. He then releases his finger over the intake and this allows him to pull the vapor deep into his lungs. If he just breathes it without these measures, it's not that effective. It fits perfectly over your mouth. I don't think I'd use it for a stuffy nose, but it's perfect for a cough.

He awoke twice last night, and for the previous week he had awoken 6+ times a night. He used it both times, and even though the water had cooled, he said it still worked well enough for him to quiet his cough and get back to sleep quickly. He told me this morning he feels like a million bucks. It saved him a trip to the docs and the asthma and steroid meds he usually gets stuck with. He took it to work and its perfect for us because it there's no cord and no batteries, just hot water. I highly recommend it!

I would have given it a negative star. This is not an electronic device and it cannot use boiling water. I agree with the previous comment that by putting boiling water in a cup will produce more steam than this device.

Buy Humidifier Bottle Valve Cap Fits Emerson Moistair, Kenmore 2-pack

For those who own the Sear Kenmore (and like-branded) home humidifiers for the winter months, these replacement values are perfect. The Kenmore Home Humidifier (with the two portable/refillable water tanks) makes filling the humidifier so much easier than the days of buckets and sloshing through the house. However, the constant in-and-out of the water tanks does tend to break-down the plastic on these bottom values and Sears does not carry the replacement valves. These valves are crucial for good water flow. The product offered through Amazon is a perfect fit and is a bit stronger that the EOM. A great replacement!
