This product is basically as described, but seems to be lesser quality than the one that came with the original product. These ones deteriorate faster than the original--more of a paper quality than a plasti-paper quality.

Winter dryness is a real problem when we get our fireplace running. In the past we have scrambled to find the right size filters in our local retail stores...and usually they don't have the right size. It's been great finding them on Amazon....and I intend to keep ahead of the season and be stocked up.
