Do not buy this, it stretches in the water and gets all wrapped up around the rollers in your humidifier, I ended up just throwing it in the trash !

I ordered 3 of these since they are not carried in the stores anymore. All 3 broke at the seam within 5 minutes of installing each one. The material these are made from is not as strong as it used to be and the seam is no longer reinforced. Would never buy these again; i had to buy an entirely new console humidifier with a wick-type filter.

Can't find these belts anymore for my 1985 Sears humidifier (which still runs perfectly). This is just like the originals. Needless to say I bought more than one.

I bought a similar product from a different supplier last winter and it worked for the entire winter. This product lasted less than a week and became unusable, because it stretched several inches, and kept getting caught in the turning mechanism. The filter reminded me of fabric that is stretched across the grain, becoming wider, instead of with the grain, retaining its shape. I don't know what the filter belt is made of, but it reminds me of quilt batting, and this one was cut across the grain, making it weak and stretchy. This purchase was money wasted.

I need a new filter belt, but I will not purchase from this company again, in fear of getting a filter with the same characteristics.
