I have good water pressure, leading to the humidifier in my HVAC system running far more water than it should down the drain. I installed this item in the feed line to the humidifier. Now I get the trickle I expect instead of the gush I had.
The quick connect installed easily on plastic tubing, and does not drip. The item is small and unobtrusive on the line.
