I bought 4 of these to put in my lake house. I took them out of the box and placed them side by side. There was a variance in the readings but the next morning, they had stabilized and were close to all being the same. I was impressed by that. A great value and will help me keep track of the humidity levels in different areas of the house.

I was cheap and bought this hygrometer for $2.99. Don't make the same mistake I did. The accuracy must be at least 10% off. To test the hygrometer, I took it outside, where the weather.com says it is 10% humidity (Arizona). The hygrometer showed 25%. I then purchased an Acu-Rite hygrometer at a local retailer for around $10, and it is much more accurate. The % humidity of the electronic Acu-Rite and Best-Air differ by about 10%. The "BestAir" is cheap for a reason.

not accurate. i installed it in my basement and found it was off by 10%. I would not recommend it
