drys up fast and brakes apart and makes a mess in my humidor; it leaks thru the little holes on the sides
above is what i wrote before contacting Quality Beads. I may have over saturated the beads causing it to over expand and brake apart; any way kudos to QB is sending me replacement beads.

I thought I followed the directions, but when i put this in my travel humidor case it shed white pieces of plastic all over the inside of the case.

I would recommend getting more of these than you think you may need, so far I feel that it provides less humidity than advertised. fits well in the humidor about the size of a Churchill.

I've tried a variety of other products to get my humidor to stay at a consistant humidity and this is the first one that actually worked for me. It does take some time for the humidity to stabilize initially (a few days in my case) but now my humidor is at a consistant 68% humidity and has stayed there for a few weeks now. Also, while there was a defect with the tube I recieved, I did not remove a star from my rating because once I contacted the manufacturer, they bent over backwards to make sure I was a happy customer. I plan to buy more as gifts for my cigar-loving friends.

this makes managing the humidity much easier..i wish i had started using it a long time ago. I still prefer to use a digital hygrometer along with it.
