Review of LG Ld650eal 65 Pint Dehumidifier Auto Shut-off External Drain

Purchase this Dehu a a year and a half ago, somewhat impressed with the dehumidification capacity (it removed alot of moisture from the air) but the product did not last more than a year and half, called LG support to inquire about the letters "CH" being displayed but they were really no help, said i would have to carry in for service. This product should have lasted much longer, now i'm in the market for another machine.

This unit started to drain improperly after only a few weeks of use. When the seller was contacted it took them more weeks to even begin to address the issue and only then by my repeated contact for a solution. In the meantime I replaced the unit from a local source as I still had a need for it's originally intended use. By the time REFURB KING contacted me they gave me only a few days to respond within my 90 day warranty and have it shipped back my costs 33.00. Amazon will not guarantee any product after 15 days, from then you are under the seller's warranty. So Basically I paid $33.00 to have their product fail to function properly and cause damage to my home. JUST DONT BE FOOLED BY REFURB KING

This machine is extremely heavy. Had many hopes for it bc my last one (Danby) broke after just a few years. Purchased a refurbished one. It seems that it is a bit temperamental bc if you don't close it "just the right way" it will not come on. And to close it the right way, is somewhat difficult .
