Mine works fine without leaking and requires no maintenance other than changing the wick once a year. Replacing the water has been very easy for me. It requires refills of water about every other night during winter and if run only at night. It also works fine with tap water plus a little bacteriostatic water treatment.

I have not un packed the item ,because the reviews & personal advice have informed me that i should not have chosen it. i wish to return & purchase another humidifier.how do i arrange to return it? H.F.
