It was reading much lower than it actually was. I had another gauge that was accurate to compare to and it was off by about 20.

Do not spent your money on this JUNK. Not worth a penny. After so many salt tests and adjustments, still RH is 50.

Right now it is flooded with water and it still only reads 75%. I bet i could submerge it in water and it still wouldn't go above 80 %.
