Cheap Diamond Crown Large Humidifier (For 100-200 cigars humidors)

I'm going on my third humidifier. The first two leaked from the cap. The plastic lip around the threads to the cap had a small imperfection on both units. The imperfection is a tiny jagged sliver of plastic on the top of the threads that doesn't allow the cap to seat properly. I have older styles that appear to use a stronger plastic and have never leaked. I believe this problem is caused by a bad mold used in production. Just be aware to feel around the threads and make sure it's smooth. Lost some expensive smokes because of bad quality control. I do like Diamond Crown products but this one let me down.

My husband has had a humidor for years. Since before I met him even. I have watched him strugle at times to keep the humidity right, especially when we are gone for a couple of weeks each year. Last year, for Christmas, I bought him a Diamond Crown humidor. Let me tell you, it is beautiful, and it is all quality. It came with this system in it already. Wow, it is nice. Steve seasoned it, and within two days, it was running perfectly. So, he is really happy. The water capicity of this thing, is awesome. He checks it occasionally, and is always smiling when he opens it. Now, when we go on vacation, the water level is less of a concern. BTW, the old humi was very high quality, not some piece of crap, but the green foam system just wasn't great for holding enough water. Steve doesn't like usiong the gell beads, because that is just chemicals, and that is why he smokes cigars instead of cigarettes....less chemicals!
