I bought this tiny little dehumidfier about 4 weeks ago, removed it from the box, set it up in a problem area of my house, and toally forgot about it! Until last week that is; I noticed a marked decrease in humidity and the place smells so much better too! The only drawback is when it comes time to recharge the crystals; I just put it in my bathroom and leave the vent fan on, but it still takes about a day before it's good to use again.

After having used the corded eva-dry dehumidifier for a year and being satisfied, I tried this one and found it was not strong enough. It still works, but because you have to plug it in to get the moisture out of it, it is also not as simple as other dehumidifier, which lets you pour the water out...

Still, this poroduct is better than the powder based ones and is silent.

This is an excellent Dehumidifier. It was delivered on time and in excellent condition. I'm using it for a fairly large safe and it's a little overkill (size-wise). Because it's a larger dehumidifier, I will have to recharge it much less frequently.

having an older home (1920) has it's issues. one was that there was a damp smell in the master closet. this thing took the constant wet smell in the winter away. it lasts about 2 weeks before the beads inside turn color, but i just leave it plugged in overnight and return it to the closet the next day. i dont care for the "fragrance", wish i would've gotten the one without, but you can just leave that part out like i did if you dont like it. only thing to watch for is the moisture does drip out the back when you plug it in to dry.

I added this with a electric heat stick in my storage safe, and it does a good job of trapping mositure, but this summer I have had to watch it often and plug it in and let it dry itself and start again its job.
