First it was not absorbing water enough, and you could feel that its weight didn't increase as much as the previous humidifiers i had. So i had to replenish it very often (more often than my previous one). Few weeks later it developed some kind of mold on top of it. And that was it. I threw it and replaced it with a piece of cotton (yes) until I ordered a Xikar humidifier.

I am very pleased wih this little humidifier. I does a good job of keeping a 1lb bag of tobacco humidified and have recommende i o a couple of friends.
