After buying the vics humidifier , I realized that the filters are hard to get and expensive. These filters does the job better than original vics filter that came with the humidifer. Immerse in vinegar after 15 days of use for 5 min to keep in going.

The product advertised on this page is not the product being sold. The mineral absorption pads on this page are a six pack from enviracaire and are 2 1/4 inches. The product sent is a generic 4 pack in a clear plastic wrap and 3 1/4 inches. You can, however, use these pads if you cut them in order to fit into the humidifier.

These fit my Vicks V790 humidifier (product titled "Vicks UV 99.999% Germ Free Humidifier" on Amazon) perfectly. They aren't cheap once you pay for shipping, but they're the right size and if they help your humdifier last an extra year or two then they are well worth the expense!
