I use this cleaner with my Crane humidifiers. I like it because the longer you let it sit, the more work it does for you. Now, if you fail to clean your humidifier on a regular basis, it will take more effort to get your humidifier clean and you will need to use more of the cleaner. It's just common sense. Don't be lazy, cleaning your humidifier often is necessary for ALL brands of humidifiers, not just Crane!!Disappointed in this product, sorry I bought so many. Does not work well, almost used a whole bottle trying to saok off scales.
