The replacement filter HC-818 is a substitute and not a Honeywell Filter. They do not last anywhere near as long as the Honeywell Filters
do. Thye will be okay for starting next fall. I will be sure to order the Honeywell Filters in the future. This item is a replacement for the HC-818 and not a HC-818 replacement filter.

The so called HC-818 Honeywell Humdifier Replacement Filters I received from this company were a different size than the one I had from the manufacturer. They came in a plastic bag with no identifiying markings and when told about it the company has yet to return my phone call. Will be buying my filters elsewhere from now on.

With Winter here it's time for running the home humidifier pretty much 24/7. This was a great value (3 filters) for the price. Just remember to turn the filters over each time you refill the water tank(s) and the filters will last even longer...
