i read a lot about cheap chinese humidors and how they're not worth their lower price and you should spend 5 to 10 times as much to get a nice one from a cigar shop. bull hockey.
this humidor has held it's humidity for years and has been responsible for maintaining cigars that are almost as expensive as it is.
there are cheap knock offs out there that don't seal properly or work, and those all wood (this one has a pressed wood bottom) humidors that cost a lot more look nicer, but this is an affordable humidor that holds a decent capacity of cigars and has a removable key. it looks very nice and since it doesn't have a glass top it doesn't suffer from temp/humidity swings as much as other ones in this price range do.

I've had this for at least six months now and it is a beautiful and effective humidor. Fit and finish are great. When you shut it you can feel the pressure as you close it, indicating a tight seal.Follow the directions for seasoning itthe wood will take on a lot of water. Also, I buy cigars online and they often are fairly dry. I find that putting a small cup with about 1/4 inch of distilled water in it provides enough extra moisture to humidify the cigars and allow you to reach 70%; just take the open water out once you reach a stable level of humidity around 70%.
I replaced the analog dial hygrometer with a digital one because it is easier to read, but I'm sure the original would have worked fine. I also do not use the built-in well for water, but use a separate one with a better absorbant.

I bought this for my first Humidor and it hasn't disappointed. It's well built and I really like the dividers. I wouldn't put much stock in the hygrometer, as most non-digital hygrometers rarely work. I love cigars. I've been having such a hard time deciding which humidor to buy to replace the one I have that doesn't hold humidity well. The ones I really wanted were upward of $150 and I just couldn't pull the trigger. I finally decided to buy one that would just "meet my basic needs" meaning it had good reviews and was the right size. I also wanted one that did not have a glass top as I think they don't hold humidity as well. I decided on this model and didn't have any great expectations, but when it arrived it was much bigger than I thought it would be and the fit and finish especially on the inside was fantastic. It is a very solid humidor and it seals up nice and tight when you close the lid. For the money I paid I'm thrilled. It also has a key lock which is a nice touch. I use an Oasis xl electric humidifier in my humidor so I can attest to how the humidifier that comes with this one will work. Buy this and you won't regret it.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Quality Importers Milano 75-100 Cigar Humidor, Rosewood
