This thing is horrible, absolutely THE worst. Not only does the base fill with water (is it supposed to? I don't know because it is not addressed in the manual) but this humidifier also makes whatever surface it's on completely soggy--not damp, but SOAKING WET... or at least it did before it completely stopped working about one month after I bought it. Which brings me to:
The company's customer service. It too is horrible--but perhaps I am being unfair! Maybe I shouldn't judge until I actually get a reply... which I have not even though it's been well over a week, possibly two. But all hope is not lost because maybe FIVE is the magic number in terms of messages? I've sent four, so maybe if I hold on just a little bit longer...
No; I bought something else in the meantime. Do not buy this awful thing... unless you hate your money and you really don't want a humidifier anyway.Bought this for our Nursery but ended up using it in my room until baby arrives. Puts off good amount of moisture without making the room feel like a rainforest.
