We have bought several humidifiers and this is the one we like the best. It has a very strong mist that sends out tons of humidity. The tank is very large and sits flat in the sink for filling with an adequate sized fill hole. Also has built in handles so carrying a full, wet tank is not a problem. No filters is a big bonus. Pretty quiet-a "white noise" hum & some gurgles. It is relatively easy to clean. The base even has a design for hand holds so that you can move it easily while full. All in all I am very satisfied with this humidifier and hope that it will last many years. Only thing I would recommend is to sit it on a solid surface that is water resistant as things around it will get damp.I bought this and was happy with the output but if its on the high setting your floor nearby will be wet. I am returning it.
