This is a good quality little box. The hinges and fit and finish are all quality. That said, this is a small box, and I wouldn't say it is super sturdy or can take a lot of abuse. But given it's purpose and size, it is actually good quality. The inside is a little plain just bare, unfinished wood that is not too impressive. But closed the box looks nice if you are (in our case) wanting a bright orange, attractive little box. Of all things, I actually used this to place my sprinkler control inside of on the wall of my garage office. We have a green, orange and white color theme in a very nice garage office and this box matched perfectly, fits the sprinkler control just right and is perfect for opening and closing each time I need to access the sprinkler system. Maybe I'll take up smoking cigars and have reason to buy another humidor.
