The only difference I see between this filter and the last one I purchased was the lack of a thin aluminum mesh layer in the center. It doesn't seem to make a difference.

this replacement wick filter is an exact fit in my old Duracraft humidifier. I no longer have to think of buying a new unit as this and a thorough cleaning of the unit have it working like new.

Ordered three filters one looked like it might be the right wick filter. Other two were flimsy and appeared to be more like a dust filter for the back of a electronic itemthin and flimsy. What a rip -off!!!!
