We bought this humidifier somewhere other than Amazon, but I still wanted to leave a review because I think it's a really a great humidifier. It's our third humidifier, and it's by far the best! It's super quiet, it's on all night. I love the fact that you can turn the LED night light on or off, so you don't have to be covering it with a towel. All of the functions / buttons work great, they're just enough for what's needed a low medium or high setting, cold/warm, etc. My favourite part is the double nozzle that you can turn so the vapour can go in two directions! Covers the room faster and it's not concentrated in one spot. You see this especially if you have it on a medium or high setting. This is a really really great feature.

So far I had it just for a day so cant talk about everything. But I will list things that I like and didn't like:

Likes:

1) Extremely quiet. Havent heard it make any noise at all.

2) No filters, no gimmicks, No additional costs

3) Easy clean up

4) Huge tank so I don't have to fill it in the middle of night. The way it is going it might last me for 2+ days.

5) Nice overall size. Easy buttons and settings. Various options available to custom it to your own needs. Includes presets to shut it off after few hours. Warm and cold mist, Humidity level etc.

6) Night light option is great. Best part is I can turn it off.

7) 24 hrs later my nose is saying thank you.

8) The mist looks beautiful to me.

Dislikes:

1) the tank don't have an easy handle to lift or to flip it over the humidifier. I am in ood shape still I found it difficult. So, I don't expect everyone to like it. Work around, just fill the tank half.

Costco had a sale on these recently, so I got one. For a high-end ($$$) humidifier, it is pretty average.

GOOD STUFF: creates a lot of vapor, exceptionally quiet, large reservoir, and has a timer so you can set it to stay-on for 4-8-12 hours and turn off automatically. The auto shutoff when the water gets low works well!

MEH! STUFF: the "warm" setting only produces 80-degree vapor, which feels a bit chilly the opposite of what I wanted. [The Air-o-Swiss has 104-degree vapor]. Does not have a humidity sensor/control feature to keep the room comfortable at all times: only L-M-H options. Puddles area in front of unit, even if you set the 2 mist outlets in opposite directions. Claims "There are no added costs with the unit since there are no evaporating pads, filters or wicks to clean or replace," however, you still need to purchase/replace a calcium filter if you don't want white dust everywhere so you still need costly filters with this unit. Looks 'clunky' in real life compared to the sleek view online.

If you are going to spend $100 on a humidifier, I'd go with one that has warmer mist and a humidity monitor/control feature to keep the room cool automatically.

Just purchased, and will update, trying to keep my 8 month old sons room from getting to dry with the heater on. Packaging and ease of setup are reflected in the rankings right now.

Update 1: Machine runs virtually silently, just some very faint bubbling every so often. My son slept 7 straight hours last night, he had been popping up 2-3 times a night since we had to put the heat on.
