The part works well in my humidifier although it is not the same as the original (lacks the plastic frame). I am very happy with my purchase.

Filter is well worth the money. I replaced a generic filter that I had to cut and double with this one that was an exact fit and it doubled the amount of moisture it was putting into the house.
