This little diffuser works like a charm. I use it beside me on my nightstand. I run a small fan at night because we get warm so this has helped me keep my sinuses hydrated. I usually wake up with a sinus headache, but using this diffuser along with some quality essential oils, has kept it away.

I did not use the oil that it came with. Even though it states, "100% Pure Lavender Oil", I knew it wasn't because of the disclaimer that we could not ingest it. (If you find quality CPTG oils to use, you can actually ingest and experience the benefits of the oil that way.) Anyway, I had given my boss the oil that this device came with and she used it in her own diffuser in the office. I've found that she needed to use 6-8 drops to get some sort of decent scent to expel from it. (Whereas I only need 1-3 drops using the quality essential oil.) And I've also found that the less quality oils made my throat a bit "scratchy" as if irritated. I had her throw them out. I didn't want that type of sythetic oil entering my body and causing my throat to do that. (So now we use an essential oil called "Wild Orange" at the office.)

The light is a very nice feature. It can operate independently from the diffuser setting. It has four color settings, each with a high and low setting. I've found that the lowest and less intrusive setting (for sleeping) is the low red setting.

I like that the diffuser has the timer setting. Mine usually shuts off before all the water is gone. Which is fine. I normally wake up at least one time at night for a bathroom trip so when I come back, I simply put it back on and it operates for another few hours or until the water runs out. (Oh, and I always use bottled water, I don't want to be using the hard water from my faucet.)

The only con that I have, is that when it shuts off, it shuts off with a beep. It doesn't wake me up, but if you're a light sleeper, that may be a problem for you.

My parents both had some sort of respiratory issue and I let them borrow the device one night. (My husband complained that he knew he wasn't going to sleep well that night.) They were convinced that they will need to acquire one of their own soon, especially with a particular essential oil I had placed into the device that helped them. (I used "Breathe" for them.) When I got the device back, it was greatly missed in my home. Even the dog was a bit restless, as he usually is deeply snoring when I'm using Lavender oil.

This would be great next to you on a nightstand, or on your desk. But it is definitely powerful enough to fill your room with the scent. It does start off light, but after the device has been running for a bit, the vapor can really be seen.

I've posted some pictures up to help describe this device a bit more. I really wish somebody had posted some pictures up before I bought this device, because like most of us, we go into some purchases blindly. But I do not regret this purchase.

I wanted something a little prettier for the family room than the 'UFO' style ultrasonic diffusers I had been using before (shaped like UFO's with blue led lights), so I bought this, and the 'UFO's' are now in use in my craft room and bedroom only. This diffuser works brilliantly...it puts out a high and dense stream of mist and diffuses my aromatherapy oils throughout the room just as well (actually better) than my 'UFO's'. There are 2 small disadvantages in comparison the the UFO's....the first is that the timer only goes for a maximum of 180 minutes, 3 hours, and I would prefer a bigger version that would do at least 8 hours before having to refill. The only other disadvantage is that the electrical connector to the diffuser plugs in underneath the appliance, then the cord has to be threaded through a slot in order for the diffuser to sit level. This makes it quite fiddly to remove so that you can take the diffuser to the sink to rinse out or fill, making it necessary to use a small jug of water for this. I would prefer it to connect at the side because of this. It does, however, work like a dream and I am very happy overall with my purchase.

I bought this unit a few months ago and had eventually had an issue with it. I posted my review online and was immediately contacted by their customer service team. They asked me of my issue and sent out a brand new machine! Not only did they contact me a couple days after delivery (free delivery) but they also contacted me again tonight asking how the diffuser was working out! I've had this unit for 2 weeks now and love it. The colors are wonderful. My children love to play around with the different colors. It puts out a great scentjust be sure to not fill it up all the way. It won't leave room for it to be able to circulate the water/oil mixture enough to create the humidity. Fill it up halfway and it works great.

Also, the plug-in fits both ways into my outlets, but only works one way. So if you have trouble with it, try flipping it to the other side!

It's small enough to fit behind my alarm clock of my bedside table. The sounds of the water trickling inside, the scents, and the colors are perfect for night night time! And the humidity (notenot meant for it to be a full room humidifier)is good for the sinuses :) I even put it in different rooms of the house for different reasons. Eucalyptus oils for my kids when they get sick, lavender for down time, orange for UP time!

I definitely recommend!

I've only had this for a couple of weeks, but I really like it. It is not a humidifier. It's purpose is to diffuse the essential oil through a water vapor. The stream of vapor is small, but the oil diffuses great and the aroma spreads far.

I love that it has the timer feature! I have some oils that I only want to diffuse for 30 minutes. I can set the timer and it will shut itself off.

It uses 100 ml of water and it can run for several hours on this small amount of water.

The design is simple and goes with any decor. It is small, only 6" tall and 3"wide and does not take up much space.

As I have had it for only a short while, I cannot attest to it's longevity.

If you are expecting this to double as a humidifier, it doesn't. If you are looking for something to diffuse your oils in the air, this little guy is it!
