I saw the wf813 filter on amazon and thought good price and cheaper than going to the store. Well, I ended up going to Walmart and compared their wf813 filter and it comes down to this... the one's at walmart were twice as thick and stand up even when soaked with water, HENCE putting plenty of moisture into the air. The other one's from amazon might look the same in their picture but believe me when I say "I had to use paper clips to hold them up and they still wanted to fall over due to being thiner and they barely put any moisture into the air after hours of running. pay the extra .50 or .75 cents and go to Walmart. P.S. Looking at the picture the dark part of the filter was not there only the white part of the filter was there. Hope this clears things up for you.

They looked like they had been cut out of a bigger piece or part of a bigger carton. They arrived in a zipper plastic bag inside an envelope. The first one got moldy in about 8 days, the second one is doing the same.

I have a humidifier and our room and our daughter's room! Not only does the white noise help you sleep it also helps you breath! These filters are cheaper on Amazon than buying anywhere else!

I bought these thinking I was saving money, they were thinner and did not have the metal in them to help with anti bacterial or to help them stand up.

I would just go to Walmart and buy them in the future
